The Fountain Building, Bridging the Gap, & Etiquette Enrichment Ribbon Cutting
The Fountain Building, located at 402 West Main Street, is celebrating its grand re-opening with a ribboncutting on July 28, beginning at 4:00pm. This will be a 3-in-1 ribbon cutting for The Fountain Building, Etiquette Enrichment, and Bridging the Gap. Etiquette Enrichment provides business and social etiquette through group presentations, dining tutorials, customized programs, and consultations. Bridging the Gap is a local broadcast station that works to bring stories of unique people, places, and events in our region.
The Fountain Building was originally constructed as a single family residence in 1860 for a local businessman named Captain Nathan Powell. The Fountain Building has been converted to a mixed use property over the past five years by Bob & Tammy Courtney. It now contains office, event and guesthouse space and was the recipient of the prestigious Dorothy Ingles Reindollar Historic Preservatoin Award in 2015.
