Wellness for Life Medical, is an Indiana-based direct primary care provider. They establish relationships with businesses or municipal organizations by providing a cost savings benefit to the employer’s health insurance spend. This is accomplished by the creation of an on-site or near-site, membership-only clinic. Employees have access to primary care and wellness services at significantly reduced wait times for appointments — one or two days versus weeks or months — and no co-pays. Services include acute care, physicals, management of chronic conditions, prescription services, treatment of non-emergency situations and lab services. In many cases, lab tests are no cost and prescriptions are free or reduced.
 
Additionally, this clinic is now open to small/medium size businesses to provide their employees with a great healthcare benefit. This could result in better employee retention and productivity. The clinic is also able to provide individuals with monthly memberships. The monthly membership based Direct Primary Care model, known as PeakMed, continues to grow nationally and is now available in Madison, Indiana.
