Youth Villages is seeking Backpack Heroes to help provide school supplies for vulnerable children in Madison and the surrounding area. The Youth Villages’ program helps children who have experienced trauma or have a history of emotional or behavioral health issues so they can start the school year equipped to succeed. Individuals, families or groups, such as businesses or church congregations, may participate as Backpack Heroes by donating supplies between through July 27. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Youth Villages office, 130 Demaree Drive in Madison.
